ABOUT US

We have been actively in the business over thirty five years.  Tom started buying and selling antiques during his undergraduate work and Rose has been actively buying antiques and decorating homes and stores with antiques for over twenty years.

Our mutual love of early Americana brought us together at a show in 2002 and as they say - the rest is history.  Tom, living in Florida was doing shows full time as “Period Antiques” and Rose was operating her shop “Hearts & Roses Antiques” in Northport, Maine.  After a year of doing both, we decided to move to a warmer climate that was also more centrally located to our shows.  Since moving we have concentrated most of our efforts on exhibiting at shows.

In addition to doing shows, we keep our barn set-up as a year-round shop.  Because of our show schedule, we are open by appointment only.

We specialize in 18th and early 19th century American antiques.  Our love of natural or painted surfaces can be seen in all of the items that we select for our inventory and most importantly for our valued customers.  Whether it’s a dry sink, or a jelly cupboard; a pantry box or a firkin; a game board or a trade sign, you can be assured that it retains its original surface and is accurately and honestly described. Antiques are our passion and being dealers is our full time occupation.  If we are not at a show, we are actively seeking that next great piece of our American culture and history.

We stand behind our sales 100% and our goal is to help you find that exceptional piece to start your collection or to enhance your already existing collection.  We make every effort to accurately describe each piece and to provide detailed photographs on our website.  Please feel free to contact us regarding any item that we offer.
